Two of Hearts Booking Terms

  • 1. Standard Bookings:

    • Full refund if canceled within 48 hours of booking ("cooling-off period")

    • 50% refund if canceled 30+ days before wedding date

    • No refunds within 30 days of the event (but rescheduling allowed)

    2. Last-Minute Bookings (<30 days out):

    • No refunds (due to difficulty rebooking)

    • Option to reschedule for $250 fee (if done 14+ days out)

    3. Exceptions:

    • 100% refund if we cancel (chapel emergency, etc.)

    • Illness/Weather: Credit for future date (with doctor's note/official proof)

    4. Rescheduling:

    • One free date change 30+ days out

    • $350 fee for changes within 30 days (subject to availability)

  • 1. Grace Period:

    • A 5-minute grace period is provided for unexpected delays.

    2. Late Arrivals (6–15 minutes):

    • Your ceremony will be shortened to stay on schedule.

    • If you selected optional elements (vows, rings, kiss), these may be omitted to complete legal requirements within your booked time slot.

    3. Extremely Late (16+ minutes):

    • Your ceremony will be rescheduled (subject to availability) with a $75 rebooking fee.

    • If rescheduling isn’t possible, your deposit is forfeited.

    4. No-Shows:

    • If you don’t arrive within 20 minutes of your scheduled time, your booking is cancelled with no refund.

    • The chapel is reserved for 20 minutes, including setup and photos.

    • Please vacate promptly at your scheduled end time. Late departures will incur a fee of $250/15 minutes.

    • Your officiant arrives 15 minutes before your ceremony.

    • Staff will assist with photos taken on your phone at the altar and in the greenroom.

    • Staff will be onsite to assist as needed

    • Capacity & Seating

      • Included: Bring up to 2 people to witness your elopement


  • Damage & Liability

    • You break it, you fix it: Couples are financially responsible for any damage to the chapel, props, or equipment during their rental period. This includes:

      • Stains on furniture or decor ($150+ cleaning fee)

      • Broken equipment (replacement cost + $50 service fee)

      • Theft of chapel property (full retail value + 20% admin fee)

    • Injury waiver: While we take every safety precaution, Two of Hearts Chapel is not liable for:

      • Personal injuries (e.g., tripping in heels, emotional distress from vows)

      • Lost/stolen items (leave valuables at home!)

      • Pet-related incidents (see Pet Policy below)

    • By saying "I Do," you agree:

      • We may use your photos/videos for marketing (website, social media, ads)

      • You grant us perpetual royalty-free rights (but we’ll never sell them)

    • Opting out? Email us before your date with "NO PHOTOS" in the subject line

  • Furry guests welcome!

    Requirements:

    • Leashed at all times

    • $150 deep-cleaning fee if accidents occur

    • Zero tolerance for:

      • Jumping on furniture

      • Unsupervised pets

    • Our space is fully wheelchair accessible

    • Need sign language interpretation or other accommodations? Tell us 21+ days in advance

    • No sneaky substances:

      • Alcohol/drugs prohibited (save the tequila shots for after)

      • Smoking/vaping allowed only in the alley

    • Sobriety clause: Officiant may cancel ceremonies if either party appears impaired (no refunds)

    • Marriage licenses: Bring your Ontario license

    • ID required: Government-issued photo ID for both parties

    • Ceremony start times: Late arrivals get shortened slots (no refunds)
